WG7 Training and Education Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to plan the WG7 (Photonics Education, Training and Research Infrastructure) contribution to new the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA).  

As decided at the last Photonics21 annual meeting the platform is going to publish a new version of the Photonics21 Strategic Research Agenda. In preparation to this a series of working group workshops will take place in the upcoming months. Each work group member will be or already has been informed directly by the respective work group chairs. Photonics21 kindly invites all platform members to attend the workshops in order to provide input to a comprehensive research strategy for Photonics in Europe. Recommendations of the first Photonics21 SRA served as a strategy for the Photonics community in Europe and have been widely considered in the European Commission Framework Programme. Furthermore national funding programmes considered the advice given in the SRA as well.

The Work Group 7 focuses on Photonics Education, Training and Research Infrastructure.
