Topical Meeting Photorefractive Materials, Effects, and Devices Control of Light and Matter
Scope of the meeting
The 12th Topical Meeting on "Photorefractive Materials, Effects, and Devices - Control of Light and Matter" is a conference focusing on the latest developments in nonlinear control of light and matter, emphasizing new photorefractive and nano-sized nonlinear optical materials, effects from light-induced Bragg-gratings up to optical control of material engineering as well as applications in holography, and nonlinear wave guiding.
Continuing the spirit of the last conference to outgrow the traditional bi-annual meeting on Photorefractive Materials, Effects, and Devices, the meeting has expanded its topic to a series of light-induced nonlinear effects and applications that are at the forefront of nano-structured materials and photonic applications.
There will be about 150 oral and poster presentations guaranteeing a stimulating conference program. At the modern Telekom Meeting Center at Bad Honnef, we provide a setting emphasizing discussions, scientific exchange, and fruitful contacts at a highly international basis in a rural landscape. A scenic boat trip on the river Rhine to the pretty city Linz and a trip to the Dragon Rock will also give ample space for information contacts.
