Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V.

Since its founding in 1986, the 200 employees of the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) have been active in research, development and consulting in all areas of laser technology. Through interdisciplinary cooperation and due to its industrial competence - under the leadership of CEO Dr.-Ing. Andreas Ostendorf - the LZH has become one of the leading laser research centres in Germany, and in Europe. The main fields of activities deal with customer-specific problem solving, in technical, scientific and economic consulting and in industry-oriented training and education. From laser development to laser metrology, from micro-machining to cutting or welding or surface treatment, from laser optics to laser safety to process monitoring, the LZH is active in all aspects of laser technology.
