Full individual member

Cost: 40.00 € / year (2008; new fee as of 2009: 50 €)
Join via the secure EOS Online Shop or use the fax registration form.

Full individual member via an EOS branch

If you are a member of one of the EOS branches below, you automatically are a full member of the EOS as well. All benefits of individual members apply.

• SFO - Société Française d'Optique, the French Branch of the European Optical Society
• DGaO Deutsche Gesellschaft für angewandte Optik, the German Branch of the European Optical Society
• SIOF - Società Italiana di Ottica e Fotonica, the Italian Branch of the European Optical Society
• SOS - Svenska OptikSällskapet, the Swedish Branch of the European Optical Society
• SSOM Swiss Society for Optics and Microscopy - Optics Division, the Swiss Branch of the European Society
• Hungarian Optical Society, the Hungarian Branch of the European Society
• IOP Optical Group, the UK and Ireland Branch of the European Optical Societies 

Requirements: Membership in one of the aforementioned EOS branches.
Costs: 15 € (2008; new fee as of 2009: 18 €); the EOS membership fee is included in branch membership fee.

Associate member via an affiliated society

• PromOptica, Belgium
• CSSF - Ceská a Slovenská spolecnost pro fotoniku, Czech Republic & Slovakia
• FOS - Suomen optiikan seura – Finska Optikskällskapet, Finland
• NPS Optics Group - Optikkgrappen, Norsk Fysisk Selskap, Norway
• DOQE-RPS - Divizia de Optica si Electronica Cuantica a Societatii Romane de Fizica, Romania
• LAS - Laser Association, Russia
• Polish Physical Society - Optics Division, Poland
• SEDOPTICA - Sociedad Española de Optica, Spain
• DOPS - Danish Optical Society, Denmark

Requirements: Membership in one of the aforementioned affiliated societies.
Cost: 5.00 € / year (2008; new fee as of 2009: 8 €); the EOS membership fee is included in Affiliated Society membership fee.

Full member via an affiliated society

Associate members can upgrade to a full membership for an annual fee of 12.50 €.

Requirements: Existing associate membership.
Cost: 12.50 € / year
