Representing more than 1.000 members from industry, research and politics the Photonics21 Annual Meeting has become the major event to the European Photonics community.
The 3rd Annual Meeting of the platform Photonics 21 will be held at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Brussels from Monday December 8, to Tuesday December 9, 2008.
Its sessions start in the morning of December 9. All participants are invited to an Evening Reception on December 8 at the conference hotel. The informal get together invites to share information, discuss strategies or even to set the starting point for future cooperation.
Topics of this years’ event are
Research strategy for Photonics Europe - the platform reviews 2008 activities and decides on action items for 2009
2009 FP7 calls in Photonics - work groups discuss key strategic projects and project consortia
Coordination of national funding in Europe - political mirror group provides information on ongoing and planned activities
Skills shortage - an European action plan will be determined to overcome the lack of qualified workforce for Photonics industry
The Registration fee has been set at 130 Euro (incl. 21% VAT) covering entrance to all sessions, lunch, coffee breaks and Evening Reception. Registrations must be received by November 24.
As the Annual Meetings were fully booked in the past, a registering at earliest convenience is recommended. Registration will be processed on a ‘first come - first serve’ basis. Registrations must be received by November 24.
