9th International Conference on Vibration Measurements by Laser and Noncontact Techniques
The 9th International Conference on Vibration Measurements by Laser and Noncontact Techniques, organised by A.I.VE.LA. in collaboration with the Department of Mechanics of the Polytechnic University of Marches (former University of Ancona), will be held in the Tower of the Faculty of Engineering at the University in a modern complex of buildings situated on a hill facing Ancona’s beautiful harbour.
The Conference will take place in the Aula Magna and in room 160/3 (for parallel sessions). In order to facilitate orientation in the Faculty, each floor is identified by its altitude above sea level. The main entrance to the Tower is at level 160, floor #1, while the Aula Magna is at level 150, floor #-1. On the same floor as the Aula Magna there is also the Exhibition area and the Conference Registration desk.
Ancona is situated in the centre of Italy, in the Marches Region, on a beautiful harbour on the Adriatic Sea, 210 km northeast of Rome and 200 km southeast of Bologna.
Proceedings
The Proceedings will be published by AIP - American Institute of Physics.
Special Issues
Selected papers will be published in Special issues of:
MSSP - Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, Elsevier;
OLEN - Optics and Lasers in Engineering, Elsevier;
Shock and Vibration, IOSPress.
Registration
Updated information on programs, registration, hotel reservation, social programs, etc. are available at:
http://www.aivela.org.
Exhibition
An exhibition is planned to enable participating organizations to bring their products directly to the attention of potential customers. Leading manufacturers of laser vibrometer systems, non contact instrumentation and systems for vibroacoustic testing will exhibit. Additional information can be obtained by returning the Pre-Registration Form.
Short Course
A one-day tutorial course will be held the day before the Conference in order to provide fundamentals of Laser Techniques for Vibration Measurements and to offer hands-on experience on the most advanced instrumentation. Additional information will be provided upon request.
