PRI PHOTON Research Industry is the annual event on photonics issues and challenges taking place in France - a trade show of international stature.

It will be taking place from 26 - 29 October in Paris, France, in conjunction with the EOS Annual Meeting 2010. 

Energized by industry professionals, its objective is to stimulate networking and business and to enhance the visibility of the photonics industry and issues in a lively and convivial environment.  

Events and programmes

Several events and programmes will be taking place during 26 - 29 October:

OPTO (26 - 28 October)

The 30th edition of OPTO joins PRI in 2010. OPTO covers topics such as

• Emission: lasers, LED
• Propagation: fibers, telecoms & networks, instrumentation
• Detection: vision systems, sensors, detectors, imaging
• Characterization: measuring instruments, spectroscopy

With more than 100 exhibitors and a surface of 2,000  m² of exhibitor stands, an interesting exhibition is awaiting its visitors.

1st Annual Meeting of CNOP

CNOP is the National Council on Optics and Photonics. The organisation will hold its 1st Annual Meeting during PRI.

Competitions and awards vitrine de l'innovation

Vitrine de l'innovation is the annual ceremony for this coveted award granted by the Photoniques magazine.

50 years of laser

PRI will host a number of industrial conferences and diverse activities dedicated to the 50th laser anniversary.

And last, but not least, the EOS Annual Meeting 2010 will complete this  important industry event in Paris.
